Sarah was born and raised here on the Wasatch. After studying Health Education at University Sarah became a yoga instructor in 2008, a massage therapist in 2009, and structural integration therapist in 2010. She has taken these skills on the road and has worked and studied throughout the western US, the Caribbean, and Western Europe. Her roots are in power yoga, earning her initial 500-hour cert in power yoga. She studied advanced vinyasa with Seane Corn, and ashtanga (primary series) with Richard Freeman. She has workshopped with Judith Hansen Lassiter, Sally Kempton, Bryan Kest, Shiva Rea, Jason Crandall, and others studying restorative methods, mindfulness, meditation, and sequencing. Currently she is exploring the work of Leslie Howard and Iyengar Yoga. Yoga aside, Sarah is a strong advocate for outdoor spaces, adventure, and environment. She is a high angle rescue technician and avalanche rescue technician. She is more often found in the backcountry than in the front. She designs and teaches wilderness medicine courses throughout the intermountain west.
